I have been doing some thinking and I've come to the conclusion that I need to take a temporary break from book blogging. NOTE: Any tour stops that I've committed to will be honored. I have decided that I want to combine my love of books, blogging, knitting, movies digital photography and life in general into 1 blog so that I don't feel so overwhelmed. Right now I feel like my book blogging is a job, I already have one of those. My plan is to come back in the near future with a new blog and a new plan.

Guest Post ~ Love 2 people at once?

Hello everyone! 'tis I...Today we have a guest post by Ariel of The Librarian's Bookshelf.  The "million dollar" question is...can you love 2 people at once?  Enjoy!

Is it possible to love two people at once?

Well obviously it is, because we love multiple people in our lifetimes. Our parents, siblings, and friends – we love them all.

But is it possible to love two different guys at once?

I’m starting to think that it is.

I know, sounds like something out of Twilight, right? In reality, it can happen everyday. It’s happening to me right now.

There was a boy last year about this time. He was sweet, funny and the type of guy who buys you random gifts just to show he cared. We dated for a while, but our religious differences became too much to handle. Breaking up with him was one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do. As weird as this may sound, I never truly got over him. I moved on, and life has been perfectly fine since. But I never stopped loving him.

Then there’s another guy who I’m sure has no idea how I feel. After all, we’re just friends. (A Computer Science major tends to have a lot of guy friends.) As much as I would love to tell him, I know it would ruin our friendship. And so I stay silent.

I realize this sounds lovesick and depressing, but honestly it’s not. I’m actually okay with being single right now. I know God will work things out, and until then I’m happy with loving whoever needs it.

What makes you think he doesn't share the same feelings?
Or maybe you could do ask him out for a casual dinner date to discuss school? God provides opportunity but you have to do a little work too :o]
I'm glad you're friends with him but if you think your 'in love' with him, which this post is about then I think maybe you should do something a little risky.... Go for the dinner date, tell him you like him more than friend (I'd wait for a date first just to feel things out) I don't know where you live but is there any attractions like Central Park or someplace you could go for a walk, bring a little picnic, go to a party together.... the options are limited.
I say, God's given you the oportunity... he's put him in your life, now it's up to you to do something about it :o]
Let me know how it goes!!!!
